BC Harmonized Ethics (PREP)
Harmonized Ethics with RISe
RISe provides the platform infrastructure for BC Provincial Research Ethics Platform (PREP), supporting the submission, coordination, and review of harmonized ethics applications across the province. These are multi-jurisdictional applications that involve participants, data, or resources from multiple BC research institutions.
Researchers affiliated with the Research Ethics BC network can submit harmonized applications through the RISe system. Harmonized applications MUST include more than one jurisdiction and be submitted as either:
- Human Ethics - Behavioral
- Human Ethics - Clinical
**Clinical Ethics applications require a Clinical Board for review, not all PREP Institutions are authorized to submit Clinical applications in RISe
