About US

Our Research Information Systems (RISe) is a comprehensive online platform that streamlines research administration for both researchers and administrators, allowing for the management and tracking of applications online through to the approval, certification and awarding of funds.

We have expanded over the years to support more than seven modules [LINK], and is currently the primary research platform for more than 10,000 active studies and 1500 active harmonized studies. Our platform covers UBC, UBCO, and Affiliated hospitals (BC Cancer, Children's and Women's Hospital, Providence Health Care). 

As the research platform for Research Ethics BC (REBC), we also support all BC Health authorities, and most BC universities and colleges under the harmonized PREP system for province-wide harmonized research applications.
