Partners and Institutions
RISe currently supports research activities at UBC, UBC Okanagan, and UBC-affiliated hospitals, including BC Cancer, BC Children’s and Women’s Hospital, and Providence Health Care. In partnership with Research Ethics BC (REBC), RISe also facilitates research ethics submissions across all BC Health Authorities and the majority of BC universities and colleges, through the province-wide harmonized system known as PREP.
With the recent integration of REBX into RISe, we’ve expanded our ability to connect with external platforms in Alberta—specifically IRISS (University of Calgary) and ARISE (University of Alberta). This enhancement supports the secure exchange of information and documentation, streamlining the research ethics process for multi-site studies conducted across participating institutions.
