FVTesting - Create Profile - Non UBC Researchers

RISe uses your UBC CWL for secure access. If you have an active CWL and have already established your RISe account, please log in below.

IMPORTANT
CWL and RISe are separate accounts that must both be active to proceed.
 

First-time users who are Non-UBC Students or Non-UBC Researchers can only create a RISe account through our RISe Support team. 
 

Please email the below information (including your activated CWL) to risesupport@ors.ubc.ca

• Institution Email (MANDATORY for RISe / Please avoid Gmail and Yahoo Emails due to their internal restrictions):
• Telephone Number:
• Rank/Title/Position:
• Additional Positions/Affiliations (Student/Other Universities/Employment):
• UBC CWL Username (MANDATORY for RISe access):
  (For Non-UBC Researchers, please create one at https://activate.id.ubc.ca/iamweb/ - Select BASIC ACCOUNT when creating your CWL)

**If the user added does not require RISe access, CWL username does not need to be created.

Non-UBC Researchers: Please create and activate a new CWL below. Once activated, please send the CWL username to our RISe team.
 

1. Go to https://activate.id.ubc.ca/iamweb/
    
2. Click “Create a CWL Account”
    
3. Follow the instructions for setting up CWL Account.
   • Non-UBC Researchers should create a BASIC account
      
4. Complete your identification information and enter your preferred CWL username and password.
    
5. Once your account has been created, you will be prompted to check your email for a confirmation message to validate your email address and activate your CWL account.
    
6. Once your CWL account has been created,please register your RISe account above
