RISe serves as the the central research platform for UBC research ethics, managing both single-jurisdictional and multi-jurisdictional harmonized ethics applications. This integration allows for the streamlining of the ethics review process for consistency and efficiency between UBC and all other BC PREP Institutions.

UBC Research Ethics is conducted by their respective boards at UBC Vancouver (Behavioral & Clinical) and UBC Okanagan (Behavioral). 

UBCO Clinical Ethics are reviewed by UBC Vancouver Clinical Board**
